"The Change": Navigating Menopause
Menopause or "The Change" as my grandmother liked to call it....You don't hear it called "the change" much anymore but that's what it really is. It is a shift; a transition; a transformation; a REVOLUTION! It's not to be feared or cursed...as they say, change is inevitable.
Everyone has heard the horror stories. This workshop will shift that paradigm. We will talk about solutions, we will build up, we will strengthen, and we will embrace our wisdom.
The workshop will include yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditations, guided visualizations, and philosophy as well discussions on anatomy, stress, anxiety, and maintaining overall well-being as we revolt against the paradigm of decline and embrace vitality.
Join me on this 4-week journey that includes:
- An individual intake before we meet so I can better understand your concerns, fears, and hopes as you approach, and proceed through menopause.
- Four 90-minute weekly classes with handouts and weekly easy to understand homework guides. Classes include yogic techniques that can be adjusted to any experience level and ability.
- A quick 15-minute individualized Zoom discussion to check-in and connect (after the second week); &
- An individualized discussion at the end of the 4-week session to discussion growth opportunities and your way forward.
Who Should Attend: Anyone navigating peri-menopause, menopause, or post-menopause.
NOTE: Since the workshop builds upon itself, you must be able to participate in all 4 sessions.
